Poetry and Patience

The discourse of the difficult needs reorienting. Poems are temporal: they unfold in time. We identify form and meaning so I say, form emerges. And as it emerges, we come to know the poem as meaning and as appearing. It takes patience to come to know a poem. In that way, like people.
